Company Spotlight: PATRICK LAVERY

MMT Company Spotlight: Meet Patrick Lavery!

After hearing about us from a college friend, Patrick joined the Music Mountain Theatre family back in season one (2018) when he played Judas in our production of Godspell. This season, he also takes a turn at directing our youth performers in Beauty & The Beast opening this Saturday! Patrick can also be seen in Moon Over Buffalo, opening this weekend, marking his 17th time on the Music Mountain Stage.

Patrick has played many roles on the MMT stage in our five seasons and while Judas in Godspell is still very special to him, he also enjoyed getting to play the chairman in The Mystery of Edwin Drood as well as being part of the ensemble in 2019's The Will Rogers Follies.

Patrick notes that MMT is the perfect balance of professionalism and fun. “I’ve met people who I feel will be lifelong friends, and also just happen to be some of my favorite scene partners," he says. His Dream Role? Joe Hardy in Damn Yankees, though he states, “six years too old, six inches too short.”

Patrick currently resides in Flemington, NJ, and can be heard as the afternoon news anchor for New Jersey 101.5! When he is not working or performing at MMT, he enjoys baseball, obscure trivia, cooking, watching sunsets, and dabbling in songwriting!

We are so fortunate to have Patrick as part of the MMT family and a company member for his third year. We can’t wait to see him on stage this season!
