WHETHER TRAINING FOR A CAREER AS A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR OR SEEKING A WAY TO GAIN CONFIDENCE, INCREASE COMMUNICATION SKILLS, OR ENGAGE IN KINESTHETIC LEARNING - MMT EMBRACES ALL ASPIRATIONS. ACTING STUDENTS ARE ORGANIZED BY AGE AND WE ENCOURAGE OUR INSTRUCTORS TO DIFFERENTIATE BASED ON ABILITY TO ENSURE THAT EVERYONE CONTINUES TO GROW AT THEIR OWN LEVEL.

LET'S PUT ON A SHOW    

Monday 6:00 - 7:00        /   Ages 11 -18

Explore the creative process from writing a script to performing on stage. Read, score and explore monologues, scenes, and One Act plays. Play theatre games to develop your performing skills. Learn performing techniques and explore character development as you work together as an ensemble to put on a show for your family and friends. Monologues will be 

incorporated in to the final showcase.

 

Tuition: $245 per student

COMEDY IMPROV  

Wednesday 4:00 - 5:00       /  Ages 10 - 16

This class incorporates scene work and group exercises to explore the primary fundamentals of

improvisation: making performers more confident, comfortable, and trusting on stage. Learn how

to think positively, accept all possibilities, initiate and commit to any circumstance, and deliver 

fun, quality performances. This course will culminate in a final improvised presentation to 

showcase newly acquired skills.

INCLUSIVE ACTING CLASS FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED PERFORMERS   

Wednesday 4:00 - 5:00   /   Ages 16+

Join our warm, inclusive group of uniquely abled performers with special needs and let your

creativity run wild! In addition to theatre exercises and games, performers in this class joyfully

create and perform in skits, commercials, and imaginative scenes. Performers will work

toward creating a cumulative peformance.

 

Tuition: $245 per student

SHINE ON THE SPECTRUM: INCLUSIVE ACTING   

Wednesday 5:00 - 6:00   /   Ages 12-18

This inclusive acting class is designed for teens on the autism spectrum and other neurodivergent performers who are interested in exploring theatre in a supportive environment. Build your confidence, practice creative expression, and learn basic acting skills through theatre games, improvisation, and scene work. Peer mentors may also participate to help create a welcoming,

collaborative space where everyone can grow and have fun on stage.

 

Tuition: $245 per student
