Company Spotlight: JAYDIN HOUCK
MMT Company Spotlight: Meet Jaydin Houck

Born and raised in NJ, Jaydin started performing with us back at our Open Air Theatre in 2016. He was part of the ensemble in Aladdin and played The Huntsman in Snow White. Jaydin has been a part of our Jr. Company since its inception in 2018, and this year joins us for the first time as a member of our resident Adult Company!
You can currently see Jaydin on stage in our current running production of Tuck Everlasting, but you also may have seen him earlier this season in City of Angels.
He says that being in the ensemble of Crazy for You last summer was the most fun he’s ever had in a show, but that playing the Baker in our Jr. Company production of In to the Woods would be a close second. Looking to future roles, Jaydin would love the opportunity to someday take on the role of JD in Heathers the Musical.
Jaydin is not solely a performer with us here at Music Mountain Theatre, you can also find him in the lobby as one of our friendly Box Office representatives. When asked about being involved at Music Mountain Theatre, Jaydin notes, “I love the community and the people here.” He continues, “MMT is just the best. My biggest takeaway from being here is that I have learned to actually work with people rather than just work alongside them”.
Outside of doing theatre, he enjoys hiking and watching movies.
We are so happy to have Jaydin as part of the MMT family onstage, offstage in the front of house operations, and it has been so fun to watch him graduate from a member of our Jr. Company to be part of our Resident Adult Company! Don’t miss seeing him in Tuck Everlasting through May 19, or keep an eye out for him both in our box office and onstage this summer as part of the cast in Anything Goes and The Scarlet Pimpernel!

It’s awesome to see Jaydin move up to the resident Adult Company! I’ve been following his roles since Aladdin back in 2016. It’s like watching a player level up in real time. Reminds me of the grind I put into Slope Game just to get to the higher levels. Can’t wait to see him in Tuck Everlasting.
Houck slope run is a long-standing Pennsylvania-based construction and facility preservation company, distinguished by its “people-first” culture and a strong commitment to mental health, safety, and quality.
I remember seeing Jaydin in Aladdin back in 2016. For learning songs like the Baker's in Into the Woods or JD's in Heathers, I've used a text to music generator to hear the melody without needing a piano. It's a quick way to practice. I bet he uses it for the Anything Goes music.
