MMT Company Spotlight: Meet Jaimie Geddes

Jaimie first started performing with us under Downtown Performing Arts at the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre, playing Velma Kelly in our 2012 production of Chicago. She has been performing with us ever since during every season indoors here at Music Mountain Theatre. Outside of performing, she has also taught dance and triple threat classes as part of the faculty of the Music Mountain Theatre School and served on the development committee.
While it’s hard to pick a favorite role she’s played, some standouts include Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street and Janet in The Drowsy Chaperone. Picking one dream role is a much easier question for Jaimie to answer. She would love to one day play Elle Woods in Legally Blonde! Jaimie’s favorite thing about being at Music Mountain Theatre is the sense of community and outstanding talent! She notes that her biggest takeaway from working at MMT has been how hard everyone works as a team to create an outstanding end product.
When not performing at Music Mountain Theatre, Jaimie works in hematology and oncology and is also a dance teacher and choreographer. She loves spending time at the beach, teaching her students, wine, spending time with her dog, Elle Woofs (we mentioned her dream role, didn’t we?), and being an aunt to her two nieces and nephew.
We are very happy to have Jaimie as a returning resident Music Mountain Theatre company member this year. Keep an eye out for her in our upcoming production of A Christmas Story, opening Friday, where she will reprise her role as Ralphie’s teacher, Miss Shields!

Wow, Jaimie sounds incredibly driven and talented! Balancing a career in hematology and oncology with being a dance teacher and choreographer is seriously impressive. It's clear she has a full and joyful life outside the theater, filled with things she loves—from teaching her students and enjoying wine to spending quality time with her nieces, nephew, and, of course, the perfectly named dog, Elle Woofs! google baseball
The game was a huge hit even though Geometry Dash SubZero had just one button and very few graphics. Its difficult gameplay and lively soundtrack, which infuses each level with vitality and rhythm, are major contributors to its appeal.
