FAIRY TALES & FABLES

Ages 5 - 7 
MONDAY  4:00 PM - 5:00PM
$250/ student 

Any and all fairytales and fables! Come join Molly as we sing, dance, and act our way through a magical fairytale. We will explore movement and voice through fun theatrical games and exercises. All you need to bring is your imagination and your talent. See you there!

YOUTH ON BROADWAY

Ages 8 - 11 
MONDAY 5:00PM - 6:00PM
$250/ student 

Students will learn and apply practical performing techniques to successfully audition, rehearse,

and collaborate. This will range from preparing a 16-bar song cut, to composing a resumé, building vocal stamina, choreography, building confidence in solo work, and singing with a group ensemble. This course will culminate in a final presentation to showcase newly acquired skills in a performance themed “Youth on Broadway”. Our performance will feature songs, dances, and scene work from popular and contemporary musicals performed on Broadway.

BUILDING YOUR BOOK

Ages 12 - 17

How do you choose the right song for your next audition? Build your confidence and your book with age-appropriate 16 an 32-bar-cuts showcasing your vocal range, acting skills, and personality.  Examine ballads, and upbeat musical theatre selections. Discover how technology can help you prepare for your next audition.

COSTUMING 101

WEDNESDAY 4:00PM - 5:00PM                                                   $250/ student

This class introduces the principles and terminology used in the process of designing costumes for the stage. Class assignments will develop skills in costume design and focus on specific elements of design, variety, characterization, and stylization. Assignments and projects will emphasize different aspects of costume design, focusing on research character exploration and visual concept, as well as learning practical aspects of production: use fabric and crafts, costume construction, paper work, and effective communication skills in design presentation.

SEWING 101

WEDNESDAY 5:00PM - 6:00PM                                                   $250/ student

Curious about sewing but have found the task daunting? This class will demystify the sewing machine and set you up for sewing success! You will learn the components of a sewing machine, terminology, operating a sewing machine, threading a machine, bobbin winding, stitch variations, seam types, materials, and planning for sewing projects. You will practice sewing in class and then sew a small project for yourself using the skills you’ve learned.
