Join our warm, inclusive group of uniquely abled performers with special needs and let your creativity run wild. In addition to theatre exercises and games, performers in this class joyfully write and perform in skits, commercials, and imaginative scenes. Performers will work toward creating a cumulative performance.

This class incorporates scene work and group exercises to explore the primary fundamentals of improvisation: making performers more confident, comfortable, and trusting on stage. Learn how to think positively, accept all possibilities, initiate and commit to any circumstance, and deliver fun, quality performances. This course will culminate in a final improvised presentation to showcase newly acquired skills.

EXPLORING JUKEBOX MUSICALS
Ages 12- 17
MONDAY 5:00PM - 6:00PM
$350/ student
Gain exposure to the success of the Jukebox musical. Study the impact of ABBA, Cher, Elvis Presley, The Temptations, and more. Build your confidence and your book with age-appropriate 16 and 32-bar-cuts showcasing your vocal range and personality. Examine the history, analyze songs, study scenes, and work as an ensemble to create a unique revue.

Explore the creative process from writing a short skit to performing it on stage. Read and explore monologues, skits, and scenes. WorK collaboratively to write an original
monologue/play or stage a scripted play. Learn performing techniques and character
