Ginny Brennan, Owner/Producer
Ginny was the Artistic Director of the Children's Theatre program for the Bucks County Playhouse for 6 years and the theatre's General Manager for two years prior to that. She has served as a job coach for Special Education students with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit. She is the current director of New Hope Upper Elementary musical, and drama teacher at JMJ Home School Co-op. Many years ago she graduated from Ramapo College of NJ, as well as went to the original Woodstock. She has combined her experiences and teaches acting and musical theatre for 5 to 8 year olds and an acting class for developmentally disabled students. She has founded the preschool program at DPAC, where she taught for numerous years. She has had extensive experience with auditioning, casting, direction and costuming. Ginny served as the producer of the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre which ran for 8 seasons. She is thrilled about this new journey into Music Mountain Theatre.
Jordan Brennan, Artistic Director
Jordan is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Dance and brings his theatrical experiences to MMT. He has worked in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the past 15 years. He "grew up" at the Bucks County Playhouse, having worked there as a kid and then later as a part of the company from 1992-2008 off and on. Jordan also spent some time at sea, working for Holland America Cruise Lines & Stiletto Entertainment. Having grown up in Bucks County, he is very excited to come back home and begin this new adventure. Jordan is also an experienced costumer, designing shows over the past 10 years. Jordan is thankful for the opportunity that the Open Air Theatre has given him and the company from 2010, until 2017, but is ecstatic to move indoors. This family business could not have been possible without the help of Ginny & Louis. Favorite shows include Nunsense A-Men (Sister Leo), West Side Story (Bernardo), Young Frankenstein (Igor), and Spamalot (Patsy). Jordan would like to thank you all for supporting the arts, and for helping to enrich the youth of this community with your support.
Louis Palena, Artistic Director
Louis Attended the Girard Academic Music Program ( G.A.M.P.) in South Philadelphia, where he received extensive education in music as a singer, instrumentalist , and composer. Upon graduation he worked in the Philadelphia area in various local theaters and has had the great privilege of spending many years sailing the high seas as a Production Singer for various cruise lines. Once he stepped off the bus from New York City , he knew that New Hope - Lambertville would one day be his home.Louis spent many years as an Actor, Director, Children’s Theatre Co-ordinater under the former management of the Bucks County Playhouse, before deciding to join with Ginny and Jordan to create the summer theatre program at the Open Air Theatre. Audiences may remember him as Henry Jekyll ( Jekyll and Hyde) , Jesus ( Jesus Christ Superstar) and the long running Dr. Frank N. Furter ( the Rocky Horror Show) After eight season’s at Open Air Theatre , he is eager to welcome you to Music Mountain Theatre. He looks forward to bringing entertainment and a feeling of community to a community which is full of local talent and support for all things artistic.
Jared Williams, Technical Director
A graduate of Temple University in Vocal Performance, Music Technology, and Music Education, Jared Williams is a music technologist, music educator, performer, director, and designer who has been developing young musicians for more than 15 years. Originally from Millersburg, PA, Jared is in his eighth year as the vocal music instructor and building music coordinator at Council Rock High School North in Newtown, PA, where he is in charge of a thriving choral music program. He also works extensively with the school's Sock 'n' Buskin theatre program. In his time as director, his groups have consistently earned superior ratings at various music festivals and have performed concerts throughout the community, state, and world! As a performer, Jared has performed throughout Pennsylvania as well as Boston, Puerto Rico, and as a soloist in Taiwan and Hong Kong, to name a few. As musical theater buff, Jared often finds himself directing, musically directing, technically directing, and supporting theaters throughout Pennsylvania…the show seems to always be going on! Jared has been technically directing productions shows for DPAC at the Open Air Theater for the past six years...and on occasion, can be seen on stage! Jared resides in Jamison and has studied with Alan Harler, William Mayo, and Jeffrey Cornelius, among others, and is currently finishing a Master's Degree in Music Technology at Valley Forge University. Jared is excited for the Music Mountain Theater and it's mission of bringing quality, affordable, Musical Theater performances to the greater Lambertville area.
Kelsey Dunne, Production Stage Manager
Kelsey Dunne is a Pennington, NJ resident who was introduced to DPAC in 2013 and spent two summers stage managing with them at the Washington Crossing Open-Air Theatre. While there, she worked with shows like Crazy for You, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Wizard of Oz, Seussical the Musical, and Secret Garden. She is a graduate of Ithaca College, where she got a Bachelor's of Arts in Theatre Studies, with a focus in Stage Management and a Bachelor's of Arts in Writing, with a concentration in Creative Writing. In college, she stage managed plays, musicals, and dance companies, and in her senior year she was the Stage Manager for Dogfight. Out of college, Kelsey took a position as Production Stage Management Intern at Kalamazoo Civic Theatre (Kalamazoo, MI), the third largest community theatre in the country, where she stage managed Oklahoma!, Side Show, and By the Way, Meet Vera Stark. She also mentored and taught volunteer stage managers and youth stage managers for many of the other shows in the theatre's 13-show season. She was recently in Fairfield, CT as the Production Stage Manager for Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde Jr. with Broadway Method Academy. Kelsey is extremely excited to join the Music Mountain Theatre family and work with them as they take this incredible step to become a year-round theatre. She can't wait to reconnect with the friends she made in her previous experiences here!
Lucy Fisher, Children's Theatre Coordinator
Lucy Fisher is thrilled to be taking over her dream job as the Director of Children’s Theater at Music Mountain Theatre! Born and raised in the Lambertville/New Hope area, she has been performing and working locally from a young age and grew up at the DPAC studio. Lucy trained in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, pointe, acting, and voice at DPAC, Spotlight Music, and Rogers Dance Academy throughout high school and later became of a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Arts with a concentration in Acting and a Master’s Degree in Education. She is a member of the International Thespian Society and Alpha Psi Omega (both are theater honor societies), and also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for both Acting and Dance classes while in college. She currently holds her teaching certification for the state of NJ in Theater, Elementary Education, and Special Education. She has performed throughout most of the the tri-state area, including Town and Country Players, Maplewood Strollers, Hexagon Players, The Kelsey Theater, Washington’s Crossing Open Air Theater, Eastern Opera of NJ, The Opera at Florham Park, The Minetta Theater in NYC, The Pocono Playhouse, and the Bucks County Playhouse. She has also spent the past three years teaching dance, acting, voice, and piano at various studios and schools including DPAC, Mainstreet Music and Dance of Manville, Dance Elite of Horsham, Madison YMCA, All Children’s Theater of NJ, The Perkiomen School, Lawrenceville Day School, Encore Music Studio of Clinton, Young Audiences/Young Voices of NJ, Whitehouse Prep School, and Spotlight Music of Flemington. She has also worked as an evaluator for the Rising Stars Program for the past three years for the Papermill Playhouse. She currently resides in Flemington, NJ and can’t wait to begin her new adventure at Music Mountain Theatre.
Katie Woelfel, Director of Curriculum
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY and Hartford, CT Katie Woelfel joins the Music Mountain Team as both the Director of Curriculum and a Teaching Artist. Having grown up doing community theatre in the greater Hartford Area, she pursued theatre education with the Syracuse University Department of Drama where she graduated with a degree in Theatre Management and a minor in Public Communications in 2016. Most recently Katie has worked at McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton as their Education Teaching Artist Intern. Currently, Katie lives and works in Philadelphia as a theatre-maker and educator. She particularly has a passion for using drama to teach social and emotional learning skills for students of varying physical and mental abilities and very much looks forward to bringing this to her work at MMT. As an artist and a teacher Katie has pursued theatre because of its capacity to foster empathy and promote collaboration in the next generation. This fall she looks forward to teaching at Theatre Horizon, Wolf PAC, and McCarter Theatre Center in addition to Music Mountain Theatre.
Julie Palena, Theatre Office Manager
Having recently returned from the west coast, Julie is thrilled to be a part of the MMT team. After finishing her education in Las Vegas, she lived in Los Angeles, California, where she worked for a national Real Estate firm. Julie has served as both receptionist for DPAC studio and box office representative for the Open Air Theatre. She is thrilled to provide her expertise at Music Mountain Theatre and looks forward to greeting you all at both the box office, and theatre school.
